Becky Taylor, the well-known multi-instrumentalist, has launched her much awaited debut album. Entitled simply Becky Taylor, it demonstrates her ability to give a distinctive interpretation to
traditional tunes on a variety of instruments- Uilleann Pipes, Northumbrian Pipes, fiddle, whistle and duet concertina – and her skill in composing and arranging tunes that continue that tradition.
This distinctive repertoire contains many tunes that have only been heard in the concerts and sessions at which Becky has played over the years. In producing the album, she has brought together many
of her friends and their playing adds to the sense of vibrancy and dynamism that characterises both the album and the traditional music scene today.
