Padraig Lalor	Guitar and Vocals	Belfast born Padraig Lalor, guitarist and singer formed Henry Marten's Ghost in 1994.
Piotr Jordan	Fiddle	Piotr Jordan teamed up with Padraig in 1997. Piotr brings to the music an energetic style that has its roots in eastern european gypsy music.
Chris Knipe	Mandola	Chris Knipe made his debut with the band in 2000, playing 8 string mandola.

Who was Henry Marten ?

Henry Marten was one of the signatories of Charles 1 death warrant. Born in Oxford in 1602 he became a lawyer and parliamentarian. He supported the cause of the Irish during Cromwell's invasions and in 1664, for urging peace with the Irish, he was tried for treason and imprisoned in Chepstow castle, where he died in 1680. A tower now bears his name.
